“Vidushini Prasad’s Artwork Shines at Kala Ghoda Association Festival”
Vidushini Prasad’s Mithila-style painting, showcasing a galloping red horse, took center stage at the recently concluded Kala Ghoda Association Festival. The artwork was a proud inclusion in the Hamari Virasat – Har Dil Mein Samvidhan Campaign, which honored the 75th year with 75 textile artworks.
The exhibition, themed “The Majestic Steed of Democracy: A Mithila-Inspired Tribute to India’s Constitution,” aimed to capture the essence of the preamble to the Constitution of India. Vidushini’s contribution added a unique and captivating dimension to this celebration of our constitutional legacy.
Despite not being able to attend in person, Vidushini Prasad’s artwork played a pivotal role in bringing the theme to life, symbolizing the spirit of democracy and artistic tribute to India’s constitution.
Special thanks go to the Hand For Handmade initiative for providing this impactful platform, with gratitude extended to Shibani Dasgupta Jain and Vinita Gursahani Singh for their invaluable efforts in organizing the event. The presence and appreciation of Dia Mirza, a prominent actor, further highlighted the significance of Vidushini’s mural, emphasizing the support garnered from esteemed attendees.
Heartfelt thanks to all who attended, becoming part of this meaningful celebration and witnessing the artistic homage to our constitutional heritage.
