Kala Ghoda Festival
Excited to announce that Vidushini Prasad’s Mithila-style painting, featuring a galloping red horse, was prominently showcased at the recently concluded Kala Ghoda Association Festival. The artwork was a part of the Hamari Virasat – Har Dil Mein Samvidhan Campaign, celebrating the 75th year with 75 textile artworks.
Capturing the essence of the preamble to the Constitution of India, the display included 75 incredible artworks, each contributing to the tribute of our constitution’s legacy. Although Vidushini Prasad couldn’t be present in person, her artwork played a significant role in bringing the theme, “The Majestic Steed of Democracy: A Mithila-Inspired Tribute to India’s Constitution,” to life.
Gratitude is extended to the Hand For Handmade initiative for providing this platform, with special thanks to Shibani Dasgupta Jain and Vinita Gursahani Singh for their wonderful initiative. Noteworthy appreciation goes to Dia Mirza, a leading actor, for visiting and expressing admiration for the mural, signifying valuable support.
A heartfelt thank you to all attendees who became part of the celebration, witnessing the artistic homage to our constitutional heritage.
